Sheer Genius

One trend that seems to be popping up is sheer garments. Sheer dresses, skirts, and tops are being worn sans slip, creating somewhat of a silhouette within a silhouette vibe. I love the look, but could not image stepping out my front door in it. Kudos to all the fashionable ladies out there embracing this new fashion trend and working the streets like it’s a catwalk!

Would you wear this daring look?

Street Fashion: Flea Market Style

Who knew that flea market shopping could be so fashionable? Los Angeles Times photographer Colin Young-Wolff had a hunch and went to the “World’s Largest Flea Market”, the Pasadena Rose Bowl, to check out more than old clocks and vintage salt and pepper shakers.

Holy Hats

I had every intention of posting about Kate Middleton’s, now Her Royal Highness, The Duchess of Cambridge, dress and the rest of the bridal party attire, BUT, after reviewing photographs of the event all I can say is Holy Hats! The pictures speak for themselves. Enjoy!

Who wore it best? Taylor Swift vs Kate Bosworth

I love this “Who wore it best” because it is not the usual D&G, Versace, or Zac Posen ensemble being judged, but a quite affordable and attainable Top Shop white lace dress.  Both lovely ladies look fabulous, pairing their white frock with black accents, but…who wore it best?

One of the latest DIY posts is for creating a box braid necklace inspired by one of Phillip Lim’s designs.  All you need is some micro-fiber faux suede, rubber bands, and an assortment of washers that you can find at your local hardware store.

Closet Envy

Thanks to the Coveteur we can all get a glimpse into the lives of the fabulously fashionable and spend all day dreaming about the magnificent and drool worthy pieces found in their closets.  I am currently in aww of Sylvana Ward Durrett, Vogue’s Director of Special Events, and her plethora of designer shoes, vibrant clutches, and chic décor.

Who wore it best? Diane v Kate

I absolutely LOVE this Dolce & Gabbana dress recently worn by actresses Diane Kruger and Kate Bosworth.  It beautifully combines two major trends for the spring season through crystal embellishments and lace.  Both girls made this dress their own with Diane keeping to her usual sleek and classic style and Kate taking on an edgier more casual look.

Which fashionista’s style do you like the best and how would YOU wear this dress?
